Basic Physics is a mashup producer that hails from the good ol’ Midwest. I’ve been following his career for just over a year now and every once in a while a mashup of his pops up that blows me outta the water. He may not be the most prolific masher, spitting out one or more every week, but when you see a release by him, you know he took the time to get it right.

However, instead of just throwing out my handful of favorites, I went through every one of his albums and plucked the top ones. It took an assload of time, so I hope you enjoy.

As many female musicians as we’ve featured on here, I rarely come by a producer, let alone a top-notch one! Now we get one that not only produces some heeaaavy electronic, but switches up her style every damn time. From dubstep to downtempo, ill-esha’s production is mighty fine.
One issue I had with her SoundCloud page is her abundance of clips, although a lot of them seemed complete. I’ve included some of my favorite clips at the bottom, now I gotta go hunt some of their full versions down.

Kap Slap takes the pop and mashes it up with the biggest names in dance music making for some well tuned RAGERS. From House to Dubstep, this guy can really pop it off with these pop stars. Though, it would be nice if he went to the underground scene a little, eh

I still may not appreciate his style enough, but those lyrics and fiiine ass beats makes him more than SoundKlout worthy.
What shocked me the most when looking over his SoundCloud tracks was something I don’t usually cover all too much with Gambino, the production. I would’ve loved to feature some of his earlier tracks, but the production, in all honesty, was awful. He really has done a 180 in his more recent work.
Check out these Childish rhymes by Gambino + his singing ever more!

I’ve been posting about these two quite a bit lately, so I decided to go over their SC collection and see what I could dig up. Wish they put up a little more, but still found a few quality dubstep remixes I haven’t heard before – though, I’m guessing if you’re into this whole scene, you’re probably familiar with most their work. To all else, enjoy! (as much as you can)

Since then I’ve been following him on SoundCloud and not only does he pick the right people to remix, but does it damnnnn well. He does have an advantage though being in the music scene of all music scenes, The Bay Area.

As much as Stephan Jacobs is still as an acquired taste as any of his kind, he really puts mass appeal potential to his work. Just gotta wait around until the people catch up to this progress in music.

The White Pandas are straight up mashers and, although, they mostly deal in the mainstream pop & hip-hop I don’t usually care to feature on here, I still managed to find some properly put together tracks. These two really know how to take apposing styles and whip ’em up as one.
[soundcloud url="http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/23147728" params="player_type=tiny&font=Arial&color=292929" height="18" width="55%"]Not to float their boat anymore than I already have, but Coyote Kisses is the most promising electro-heavy, dub-steppy group I’ve heard over the past year (little competition). Their melodies are spot on and change up their tune just enough to keep us on our feet every.damn.time.
How these two haven’t been signed to PLM or anything else legit is beyond me, but once they get their act together, drop the whole college thang and start seriously stepping towards their quite obvious chosen carrer path, I know they’ll be hittin heavy in this scene.
