Basic Physics is a mashup producer that hails from the good ol’ Midwest. I’ve been following his career for just over a year now and every once in a while a mashup of his pops up that blows me outta the water. He may not be the most prolific masher, spitting out one or more every week, but when you see a release by him, you know he took the time to get it right.

Soon after the first drop, all hell breaks loose with Avicii’s “Levels” & Taio Cruz’s catchy rhymes from “Dynamite”. Intermission kicks in with an Etta James sample that Pretty Lights made popular. Second half ends it all with Journey’s classic of all classics, “Don’t Stop Believing”, with continuing backups from […]

Always thought you’d do well with a classic game remix, for some reason I always hear traces of it in your music, and you haven’t disappointed this time ’round. Not only did you pick such a classic tune from Sonic, but this bass music rides the original tempo just right.
Now I gots to find more classic game remixes that contend with this. Suggestions

Better yet, she keeps to the original beat, not trying to impress with massive, incoherent drops.
Now, if she could only find more contemporary vocals for her to drop her lovliness on… wait, doesn’t she sing too

Wonder what I’m thinking of… (anyone). Still a bass stabbin remix with enough bass to kill a small goat.

I actually quite enjoyed a couple of the tracks, but more for who he remixed rather than the actual remixes themselves.
He’s got a few bangers that are done real well, but most of his shit just seems marginally above the rest. That’s why I really want to hear the good and bad from you all. I first had a discussion to see if Skrillex was considered Brostep (still can’t figure what that is, haha), but now I just want to understand his mass appeal.

This uplifting electro beat was done by the Sound Remedy, remixed with every bleep, bump and BLURP (I don’t know how to type some sounds) for my electro wants & needs. Props for not only puttin’ Cobain’s voice on a different vibe, but with some electro-class.

Instrumental-wise, it’s the standard soul moving music from Blackmill, which is one of the finest growing sounds I’ve heard in dubstep or downtempo. I’m sure it’ll grow on you too, if ya give it a chance.
Make sure to check out our Blackmill SoundKlout feature, one reeelaxing set o’ songs!
[audio:Blackmill-Let-Be.mp3|titles=Let It Be (feat. Veela)]These Love and Light crunksters are bringing us more lazer/sonic/whatever kinda crunk this time on the Doobie Brother’s classic, “Black Water”. Can’t say I love it more than the original, but it sure is something to get twisted to.
* Sounds like they’re saying Obama at the start (instead of Mama) – I’m trippin, haha.

But once you settle up with this mix, you realize how well it’s done. To something that would initially seem cheesy as hell, “Classic Mario” is an epic mashup for any nerdcore hip-hop fan.
