I’m not gonna spout off why I like this so much, it’s way too early in the morning. But I will say this, it’s nice to hear a Xaphoon joint over something other than Chiddy. And no I’m not bashing Chiddy! people…

From the “Thriller” samples to the voice manipulations, this “Niggas in Paris” remix takes a bunch of mad sounds (literally) and focuses ’em into one mind pumping take on Jay-Z & Kanye’s romp around the City of Light.

You know that one where he takes such varying vocals and weaves ’em into one seamless piece. When he gets into those certain romps of his, you don’t know what’s coming next, but you know it’s gonna be goooood.
One thing I didn’t care for were the vocal manipulations resulting in that Chipmunk effect, though it’s small price to pay for this beaut of a mashup.

But once you settle up with this mix, you realize how well it’s done. To something that would initially seem cheesy as hell, “Classic Mario” is an epic mashup for any nerdcore hip-hop fan.

Not only is the bass placed & tuned perfect, but Jay & Yeezy’s lyrics are brought out harder than any other remix has – or the original did. I’ll be bumbin this for daysssss.

Can’t say I was the biggest fan of the original – I think Otis was in need of some funkedout wobble. Plus, I’m never one to resist an A.Skillz remix. He’s a genYus.

Right from the start, most of you will recognize “Who Gon Stop Me” samples Flux Pavillion’s “I Can’t Stop”. Like how they slowed it and smoothed the dubstep out a lil – although, I would of loved to hear Jay-Z & Kanye rap over Bass Music.

Rooms can be setup by anyone and consist of 1-5 DJ’s at a time. Topics for each room range from specific genres to music blogs that play just about everything.
The first type of room I got into was dubstep- although, I quickly realized that the crowd and music wasn’t for me. Apparently, I’m not into the “right” kind of dubstep, so I hit up the hip-hop & mashup rooms for a while. As much good music as I’ve found through these rooms, I wasn’t quite connecting with that many people. I started to realize that the best quality in TT.fm wasn’t finding new music, but connecting with […]
[audio:Buzzin-Classixx.mp3|titles=Buzzin’ (Classixx Remix)]After Kanye hit up Facebook headquarters in July of last year with an a capella of “Mama’s Boyfriend”, we finally get to hear the track with full productions from, who’s rumored to be, Madlib or Q-tip (but who knows).
This is definitely a throwback to Kanye’s older sound and is probably the reason why it wasn’t on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Whatever whoever is sayin, it’s good to hear this style of Kanye pop up over his progression in music.
