Xaphoon needs to do something with Gambino cause these two match up better than just a mashup. But as far as mashups go, this is another one that sure as hell competes with the originals. Well done, 21azy – Minnesota rep.re.sent!

This sure does take Eminem’s rhymes and puts ’em with beats more consistent with the times.

The track was just released on SoundCloud, but has a whole different vibe goin for it.
At first I was a little skeptical hearing this new version. But after listening to its moving beat and soft stricken strings, it hit deep. It’s not just the empowering beats laid under Gambino’s rhymes, but the lyrics themselves – they’re getting more personal and free flowing than ever before. His vocals are as endearing as ever and, after criticizing his rap style for so long, I’m finally starting to see it.
Most of all, it’s nice to know I’m posting more for Childish Gambino and less because of Donald Glover.
[audio:All-Shine.mp3|titles=All the Shine]No Pets remix of “Marijuana” puts more mary to the jane with some high-pitched synths and a thunder-rumbling bass. It may not be that over complicated, insanely sloppy dubstep, but sometimes simple is best [especially in dubstep].

But once you settle up with this mix, you realize how well it’s done. To something that would initially seem cheesy as hell, “Classic Mario” is an epic mashup for any nerdcore hip-hop fan.

Not only is the bass placed & tuned perfect, but Jay & Yeezy’s lyrics are brought out harder than any other remix has – or the original did. I’ll be bumbin this for daysssss.

He soon finished his debut mixtape First Impression, which has quickly made its rounds on the internet. The lead single “One” has accumulated well over 300,000 views since its release and he has continued the promotion of the mixtape by releasling weekly DIY music videos of other songs featured on the mixtape on […]

Can’t say I was the biggest fan of the original – I think Otis was in need of some funkedout wobble. Plus, I’m never one to resist an A.Skillz remix. He’s a genYus.

Love the vibes comin from Petty, plus we get those Bad Boy rhymes on top! Can’t say that I like Petty’s chorus tied in with the raps, but it’s still a solid rock out.
[audio:Mo-Fallin.mp3|titles=Mo Free Mo Fallin’ (Notorious B.I.G. // Tom Petty Mashup)]I’ve criticized Glover for his white boy rap style before, but to be fair I’ve really warmed up to it compared to the others. I still may not appreciate his style enough, but those lyrics and fiiine ass beats makes him more than SoundKlout worthy.
What shocked me the most when looking over his SoundCloud tracks was something I don’t usually cover all too much with Gambino, the production. I would’ve loved to feature some of his earlier tracks, but the production, in all honesty, was awful. He really has done a 180 in his more recent work.
Check out these Childish rhymes by Gambino + his singing ever more!
