I’ve always had an affinity for The Weeknd’s vocals, but for some reason or another I wasn’t feeling it in Drake and his version of “Trust Issues.” I guess it took Jaybeatz mashup with “I’m on One” to set me straight. Here’s a tune to just sit back and let these two release our everyday stresses of everyday life.

Takes some advice from Krafty Kuts, if you’re gonna remix something as overly remixed as this, do something different (don’t just lay down acapellas).

This sure does take Eminem’s rhymes and puts ’em with beats more consistent with the times.

I was always wondering when mainstream music would catch on to dubstep, and Korn was just the right group to introduce it – Metal & Dubstep were a perfect combo from the start. And as much as I love the concept, this newly released track is… well, meh.
“Narcissistic Cannibal” has got some healthy screams and rubs for that dub-dub delight, but the more I listen to it, the more mediocre it gets. I don’t know if it’s just that nostalgic Korn sound that I’m well over or the choice of dubstep producers, but as eager as I am to push this movement, I’m not so eager to push this track.

Maybe I’m just missing something, but with these Electro House bangers the words usually never really matter anyway. A decent one from Zedd, but nothing compared to the previous ones I’ve posted about him.

The man behind Mike Posner’s rise to fame recently created his own record label by the name of Get Right Records. For his first official release, he enlisted Phoenix-to-New York transplant Silver Medallion to hopefully recreate the success he had with Posner’s “Cooler Than Me” […]

In his latest, “Dangerously Melodic Anthem” takes many of the tracks we’ve grown up on and mashes ’em together like cake on ice cream (or is it the other way around). Many of the samples shouldn’t be considered together in any right mind, but since D.veloped’s already pulled it off, I’ll let him slide by this time.
Who wants to name off all the samples on here. I’ll start with one, you fill in the rest – War’s “Low Rider.”

Salem’s “King Night” captures the power of this GoPro array like a charm. It takes this damn decent of a shot and puts it on one holy level. Love how music can do that.

But until that never happens, we get a little collaboration project which takes the two, plus Chief Stockton rhymes, and is produced into one reflective, easy swaying piece. Can’t wait to hear what comes next with this Gangbang of a project – no doubt an interesting concept.
* Most of you probably haven’t heard of Chief Stockton before, I hadn’t, but even though The Gangbang put him in with two powerhouses, he seems to hold his own.

You know that one where he takes such varying vocals and weaves ’em into one seamless piece. When he gets into those certain romps of his, you don’t know what’s coming next, but you know it’s gonna be goooood.
One thing I didn’t care for were the vocal manipulations resulting in that Chipmunk effect, though it’s small price to pay for this beaut of a mashup.
