SoundKlout 20 : TigranMiMoSA

Mimosa makes strange shit with a whole lotta finesse

Mimosa Still

Our SoundKlout series is all about finding the best artists SoundCloud has to offer. Each day we’ll spotlight a handful of good music from a selected SoundClouder. If you know anyone that needs noticing, make sure to hit us up with a few of their tracks.

More than a few tracks on Mimosa’s SoundCloud do this SoundKlout justice. He’s got a real knack for taking the strange and whipping it with some melody. I do hope he gets some more tracks up on there soon – like the rap artists featured on SoundKlout before him, I think SC is only a taste of Tigran’s talent.

Sounds like a woodland fairy creature screamin like a mofo! But that’s what makes it so damn engaging and intense. Top marks.

Mimosa Live

T-Pain – I’m In Love With A Stripper (MiM0SA REMixxx)
Tigran does wonders for T-Pain’s “I’m in Love with a Stripper”. I can’t believe I actually like a T-Pain song – leave it up to an electronic remix to do me in.

Dirty Vegas – Days Go By (MiMOSA REMiXXX)
I love how remixes can bring back a track I use to play back in the day and make me love it all over again. Plus, it doesn’t have that nostalgic, cheesy feel to it!

Damn, do I love this gunslingin’ motherfucker! Electronic music can use any sound imaginable… as long as they do it right!

Wonder where the vocals were sampled from? Solid track, but doesn’t have the zing the above ones do.

Marty Party vs. MiM0SA – The Perfect Flaw
A bit dirtier than the rest, but it’s got some melodyMarty Party in there.
