Panacea is back with a whole new album, Midnight Morning Africa, but we still got a ways to go ’til the 2012 release. Until then, Raw P & K-Murdock give us a tasty track for what’s to come, entitled “The Prelude.” The track isn’t off the album, but is more of a… well, prelude to it (I’m gonna call it a tease, though)

Mashup-Germany is known for this ability and in his “Top of the Pops 2011,” he does it with damn near perfection.
“Top of the Pops 2011” is, as the title makes obvious, the top pop singers of this year mashed into one. Somehow Mashup-Germany makes them all flow together like a charm, making even the most annoying of singers not sound so bad. Make sure to watch the video, it makes the mashup even more fun to listen to.
[audio:Top-Pop-2011.mp3|titles=Top of the Pops 2011]I don’t care what you say, Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger” is one catchy little tune. But even catchier is Basic Physics mashup of “Moves Like Jagger” with a Guetta beat. However, I’ve been waiting too long for a dubstep remix and now it’s finally here.
Aaron Bond’s dubstep remix starts out with a pleasant dubstep starter package. However, when the bass drops it feels stale and lacks any organic elements. I get the whole industrial (non-organic) dubstep, but this lacks any filth to give it that. Once again it seems like the drop is the deciding factor in dubstep and Bond comes up just short – though, I can be a bit of a prude at times :p

The most interesting parts in the video are the moments captured in the audience, especially the girl at 1:08 (shit gets sexy). And as jealous as I am of every single fucker on this tape, I’m glad we get a few previously unreleased tracks from Zeds Dead, two which were featured in the film.
[audio:Eyes-Fire-Jackie-Boy.mp3|titles=Eyes on Fire x Jackie Boy (VIP Remix ft. Omar Lynx)]I am way too goddamn late to the BG party. I haven’t given them the needed time they deserve, but I promise you all that will change.
In the second single released off their upcoming album, “Nocturnal” is a heavy electro beat with melodies that could string a ray (I just like how it sounded). Best of all, it’s sprinkled with that brass instrument I love too much, especially when it’s incorporated into electronica. You know, that saxy one ;) ;) Have at it and make sure you check out the first single, “Rise and Shine,” if you haven’t.
