Wick-it does a number on this MJ classic, however, I do get mixed feelings at times. On the one hand, he’s got the drops down with a good, long coast that lasts – on the other hand, I felt he didn’t push the power in MJ’s vocals enough, not giving the buildup it’s necessary oomph.
Be as it may, it’s still a healthy remix for the Autumn season + I’m always up to hear those sweet, sweet vocals of Michael’s <3 View Full Article »

Not only does it bop along quite nicely, but the short intermissions that I’m guessing he improv’d are straight up classic Carrey oneliners.
More DJ’s gotta hop this bandwagon and remix their favorite sing-alongs from a movie or television show. I’ve been follow Disco Tech for a month or so, don’t confuse him with the group DiscoTech, and he’s puts out some real interesting stuff lately.
[audio:Somebody-Love-Carrey.mp3|titles=Somebody To Love (Disco Tech Edit)]In this bass rollover of Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River,” Telmini twists Justin’s “dreamy” vocals into a hypnotic, bass coiling beast. My only issues may be the drops – I like ’em one minute and not so much the next.
An Awesome remix, nonetheless.

Here’s a tune to just sit back and let these two release our everyday stresses of everyday life.

From the “Thriller” samples to the voice manipulations, this “Niggas in Paris” remix takes a bunch of mad sounds (literally) and focuses ’em into one mind pumping take on Jay-Z & Kanye’s romp around the City of Light.

But as far as mashups go, this is another one that sure as hell competes with the originals. Well done, 21azy – Minnesota rep.re.sent!

Takes some advice from Krafty Kuts, if you’re gonna remix something as overly remixed as this, do something different (don’t just lay down acapellas).

This sure does take Eminem’s rhymes and puts ’em with beats more consistent with the times.

The track was just released on SoundCloud, but has a whole different vibe goin for it.
At first I was a little skeptical hearing this new version. But after listening to its moving beat and soft stricken strings, it hit deep. It’s not just the empowering beats laid under Gambino’s rhymes, but the lyrics themselves – they’re getting more personal and free flowing than ever before. His vocals are as endearing as ever and, after criticizing his rap style for so long, I’m finally starting to see it.
Most of all, it’s nice to know I’m posting more for Childish Gambino and less because of Donald Glover.
[audio:All-Shine.mp3|titles=All the Shine]I was listening to the radio a couple months back, when I heard a Korn track get all dubstepped out. I was always wondering when mainstream music would catch on to dubstep, and Korn was just the right group to introduce it – Metal & Dubstep were a perfect combo from the start. And as much as I love the concept, this newly released track is… well, meh.
“Narcissistic Cannibal” has got some healthy screams and rubs for that dub-dub delight, but the more I listen to it, the more mediocre it gets. I don’t know if it’s just that nostalgic Korn sound that I’m well over or the choice of dubstep producers, but as eager as I am to push this movement, I’m not so eager to push this track.
