6 Musicians to See at Festival La Onda

La Onda set the bar last year for premium live Latin music

Festival La Onda 2025 (poster)

La Onda‘s first year was the best festival of 2024, so I have high expectations for 2025. As the younger sister to BottleRock, La Onda offers two days of Latin music – from Spotify’s Billions Club members to legacy acts my mother-in-law adores. And my personal favorite, up & comers.

I dug through the 50+ musicians performing and picked six to spotlight. At the top of the list is Edgar Alejandro, who I met at SXSW this year. He was beyond the best singer there. I’ve also been waiting to see Reyna Tropical live. She keeps popping up on playlists the past two years. The four others I’ve only discovered over the past few months, but I’m looking forward to seeing them in person as much.
