I first met Lauren in 2011 on Twitter because of a Facebook Ad I was running about a SoundCloud initiative I was doing for Silence at the time (I love how convoluted that sounds). As many people as I’ve talked to on Twitter over the years, I’ve never met someone so honest about her love for music. Someone without another agenda. And I see her dedication every day.
I usually don’t start my daily SoundCloud listening until later on in the day, but this girl is up at the butt crack of dawn listening to the shit out of it (she seriously wakes up too early) and she always gets in the comment or reshare before I do. The one thing I’ve given her shit about is what she’s doing to contribute in music, but she’s been doing something about it […]
The EDM scene seems to have missed our radar this year, but we did manage to bundle up a bunch of electro remixes anyway. And there are a few gems in there that you’ll definitely need to listen to – contrary to my lack of effort in electronic, it will be a big part in the future of music.

It may not have the affect of some of their first tracks I was introduced to, but it clearly shows a progression in their vocal cuts and the consistency in not needing the filthiest drops, yet still being as bass worthy as the rest.
We still gotta get these guys pairing up with original vocals more to carry ’em to the Next Level.

Recently, the duo released their second original, “Do I See Color,” a track that displays pretty much everything we’ve come to know and love about Adventure Club: nice vocal chops, sexy basses and a sound universal enough to be liked by most, yet unique enough to soundly occupy its own niche within the genre of dubstep (possibly sharing some space with Flufftronix and Dirty South Joe’s ‘Love Step’ series) […]

Or maybe it’s just I’m obsessed with these beauts mixed with dirty, dirtay dubstep. Either way, this style has ruled SNG for the last half of the year and hope it rules for many months into next.
