You already knew that Smokey Robotic made Superfuturistic music but did you know their weapon arsenal also included avocado grenades and a banana bazooka. Avocado grenades? Banana bazooka? Sounds deliciously dangerous. These weapons of mass destruction are featured in Smokey’s latest video for “Bazooka” off their upcoming album, The Shark & The Helicopter, due out this coming Thursday.

Smokey Robotic is consistently pushing the boundaries of music more than just about everyone else. I have long given up classifying them in any one genre and their visuals are always on another plane of artistry. They often bring the song to a new level of understanding and meaning – “Bazooka” being a prime example of that. The video expands on the notion that Smokey Robotic “could have gone POP like a Bazooka” and portrays the struggle in a interesting and symbolic way.
