The Recluse (Nero Remix) by Plan B

My new theme song!

Plan B Presents: Defamation of Strickland Banks - The Remixes

I was surfing SoundCloud a few days back, at work, when I ran into this beaut’. It took me sometime to catch the lyrics, but when I did, I realized they spoke the words that I’ve felt for so long.

I do love to rage on the occasion, but sometimes I like going a couple days without seeing anyone – I just get so much more done! And a lot of my friends/family can’t quite understand that. I guess now I can just point ’em to this song :)

The only thing I don’t like about “The Recluse” is Plan B’s rap towards the end. I’ve dealt with a lot of hip-hop artists from the UK when I worked at UMG in London, and I still can’t get past their accent. It may not be as bad as the Australian’s, but my thoughts on UK rap have been severely dampered by KIG’s Head, Shoulders, Kneez & Toez – I still cringe at “Bubbly Bubbly”.

Nevertheless, this is a fantastic remix with beautiful vocals & decent rapping from Plan B.
