Came across your blog coasting the net. You may want to check out some more stuff from our Japanese friends...

Jazztronik - "Samurai" (electronica/ nu jazz), "Mista Swing", "Cannibal Rock" plus pretty much any of their other stuff, although some creep heavily into the J-pop genre.

Ryota Nozaki (front man of Jazztronik so may be listed under either) - for more traditional nujazz check out "Rita", "Etude for the Right" (epic piano) or Life syncopation.

Soil & Pimp Sessions - anything of theirs. Its death jazz - very fast, very raw. They did a cover of Cannibal Rock which is awesome. But also check out "Waltz for Goddess", "We want more!!!".

Jazzanova - (technically a German outfit) but "Hanazono" features Hajime Yoshizawa on piano. "Coffee Talk" and "Tres Bien" are also great tracks. Gotta mention their remix of 4Hero's - "We who are not as others" as one of my favourites. Long build up, changing keys near the end. Their In Between album (and its Remixed sister album) is one of their best. They have switched to more a blues-y vocal style with their most recent album akin to the usual Solar Kollektiv flair. Still good - but different from their older stuff.

Sleepwalker (collaboration between 4 japanese jazz heavies including Hajime Yoshizawa). Any of their tracks. "Kaze" "Into the Sun"

Enjoy buddy. Hope these tracks make you move.
